Zelenskyy congratulates Ukrainians on National Flag Day of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Ukrainians on the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine.

This follows from a statement by the press service of the President.

"Blue-yellow [flag] unites, blue-yellow inspires, blue-yellow is Ukraine. Happy National Flag Day, Ukraine!" says the comment.

The video emphasizes that the blue and yellow flag flying over the temporarily occupied territories signifies the bravery of those who raise it; and abroad - the struggle for the values ​​not only of Ukraine, but also of the entire free world.

"We recognize each other by blue and yellow colors. And they give a feeling of Ukraine, wherever we are. Our flag reminds us where our real home is – the home of all millions of Ukrainian men and women," the video says.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, August 23, is the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, a symbol of Ukrainian unity, insubordination and dignity of the nation, which, after the full-scale invasion of the aggressor state of russia, appeared in many corners of the world as an expression of support for the Ukrainian people in their struggle for freedom.
