Rada Expels Savchenko From Rada's Delegation To PACE

The Verkhovna Rada has expelled Member of Parliament Nadiya Savchenko (non-affiliated) from the Rada's Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE).

Draft resolution No.5572 of 21 received votes of 237 MPs, while 226 votes enough for approval, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The deputies have deleted the clause of over-quota inclusion of Savchenko in the Rada's Delegation to PACE from the Rada’s address to international organizations and parliamentary assemblies for Savchenko’s release.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Rada in December 2014 included Savchenko in the Rada's Permanent Delegation to PACE over quota.
