Biden Urges Ukrainian People To Continue Fight Against Corruption

Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden urges the people of Ukraine to continue the fight against corruption in the country.

U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden announced this at a joint briefing with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

U.S. Vice President notes that the American people, including one million Ukrainian Americans, understand that "so much depends on your success not just for Ukrainians, but for Europe and for the United States."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden counts on cooperation between Ukraine and the Administration of President-elect Donald Trump.

On 16 January 2017, Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden arrived in Ukraine to hold meetings with President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
