AFU Destroy 520 Occupiers And 28 Drones. General Staff Announces Russian Losses Per Day

As of Wednesday morning, on May 3, the Ukrainian military eliminated 520 Russian soldiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 191,940 soldiers. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed a tank and 28 UAVs.

It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to May 3, 2023 were approximately:

• personnel ‒ about 191,940 (+ 520) people eliminated,
• tanks ‒ 3,702 (+ 1) units,
• armored fighting vehicles - 7,199 (+ 6) units,
• artillery systems - 2,946 (+ 16) units,
• MLRS - 544 (+ 0) units,
• air defense means - 300 (+ 2) units,
• aircraft - 308 (+ 0) units,
• helicopters - 294 (+ 0) units,
• operational-tactical level UAVs - 2,505 (+ 28),
• cruise missiles - 947 (+ 0),
• ships/boats - 18 (+ 0) units,
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 5,865 (+ 14) units,
• special equipment - 363 (+ 3).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of Tuesday, May 2, the Ukrainian military destroyed 460 Russian invaders over the previous day. In general, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian army has lost more than 191,000 of its soldiers.

Meanwhile, Natalia Humeniuk, spokeswoman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, noted that blowing up enemy logistics is one of the elements of preparation for active actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The enemy begins to maneuver and refocus.
