The Danish government announced the transfer of a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of DKK 3.7 billion (about USD 520 million). This was reported by the European Pravda publication with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Denmark.

The new Danish aid package will include T-72EA tanks, BMP-2, artillery ammunition, drones, small arms and armored repair and evacuation vehicles. The supply of the latter is financed jointly with Germany.

"These are equipment and ammunition, which are in demand in Ukraine and which are of crucial importance for maintaining the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the message says.

Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen noted that the aid package was formed after a meeting with his Ukrainian colleague Rustem Umierov.

"Today's aid confirms that Ukraine can count on Denmark's unwavering support in the fight for freedom... It also sends an important signal to both Ukraine and russia that we are not losing focus, even though much of the world's attention is on these days to Israel and Palestine," said Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September, Denmark announced the provision of the twelfth package of military aid to Ukraine, which became the largest donation of weapons and military property since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia.

In addition, on August 20, the Ministry of Defense of Denmark announced its intention to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
