Russian army actively advancing in 2 Axes. General Staff reports on situation at front

On September 23, 143 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axis was Pokrovsk, where 31 clashes took place during the day, the enemy also actively advanced in the Kurakhove (21 clashes) and Lyman (19 clashes) Axes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Last day, the enemy launched three missile strikes at the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, as well as 72 airstrikes, including dropping 113 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out 5,097 shellings, 162 of them from rocket salvo systems, and used 1,464 kamikaze drones for attacks.

A total of 143 combat clashes with the russian invaders were recorded on September 23.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, in the areas of the settlements of Lyptsi and Tykhe, two combat clashes took place.

There were 7 clashes in the Kupyansk Axis.

Defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Hlushkivka, Kucherivka, Kolisnykivka, and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman Axis, Ukrainian troops repelled 19 enemy attacks in the areas of Cherneshchyna, Druzheliubivka, Nevske, Makiyivka, Dibrova, Torske, and Dronivka.

In the Siversk Axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped one attack near Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance near Kalynivka, Klishchiyivka, Bila Hora and Predtechyne.

With the support of attack aircraft, the enemy tried to advance 15 times in the Toretsk Axis.

The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the districts of Dachne, Toretsk and Nelipivka.

There were 30 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk Axis.

The enemy tried to advance in the direction of Vozdvyzhenka, Marynivka, Myroliubivka, Novotoretske, Mykolaivka, Novohrodivka, Zhuravka, Krasnyi Yar, and Zelene Pole.

Defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the Kurakhove Axis in the districts of Tsukuryne, Heorhiyivka, Kostiantynivka, Katerynivka, and Ukrainsk, where the occupiers tried to break through Ukrainian defense lines 21 times.

In the Vremivka Axis near Pavlivka and Vuhledar, the enemy made eight attempts to seize Ukrainian positions.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the invaders carried out one attack near the settlement of Novoandriyivka, Zaporizhzhia Region.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the enemy conducted four unsuccessful assaults and retreated after being repelled.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct operations in the Kursk Axis, where the enemy launched 11 airstrikes during the day, using 15 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, it fired six shots from multiple rocket launcher systems.

Missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit a total of 12 areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the enemy, two air defense systems, five artillery systems, one control point of UAVs and two radar stations of the russian occupiers.

The losses of the russian invaders on September 23 amounted to 1,400 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 22, 162 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of attacks were recorded in the Pokrovsk (35) and Kurakhove (28) Axes.
