Court In Russia Extends Arrest Of 12 Ukrainian Detained Seamen Until July 24 On Wednesday Meeting

The Lefortovo District Court of Moscow (the Russian Federation) has extended the arrest of 12 Ukrainian detained navy sailors for three months until July 24, following a meeting on Wednesday.

Respective decision was taken at a court meeting broadcast on the Priamyi TV channel on Wednesday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Thus, the detention is extended for Volodymyr Tereschenko, Bohdan Holovash, Serhii Popov, Andrii Shevchenko, Roman Mokriak, Andrii Oprysko, Yevhen Semydotskyi, Serhii Tsybizov, Denys Hrytsenko, Viacheslav Zinchenko, Mykhailo Vlasiuk and Andrii Drach.

During the court meeting, all 12 Ukrainian sailors refused to testify in the court of the aggressor country.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 15, the Russian prosecutor's office asked the court to prolong the arrest of 24 Ukrainian seamen detained by Russian military in the waters near the Kerch Strait until July 26.
