Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 29.5% To 14,634, Number Of Deaths Down 14.5% To 330 On October 24

On October 24, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 14,634 over October 23 to 2,784,039, and the number of deaths increased by 330 over October 23 to 64,202; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 29.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 14.5%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of October 24, a total of 2,784,039 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 64,202 deaths; 2,380,374 had recovered.

On October 24, a total of 14,634 new disease cases were recorded, 330 people died, and 4,598 people recovered.

Therefore, as of October 24, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (14,634 vs 4,598).

At the same time, on October 24, a total of 3,912 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 33.9% over October 23.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 23, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 20,791 over October 22 to 2,769,405, and the number of deaths increased by 386 over October 22 to 63,872; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 10.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 20%.

On October 22, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 23,229 over October 21 to 2,748,614, and the number of deaths increased by 483 over October 21 to 63,486; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 2.3%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 21.3%.
