Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 41.1% To 10,046, Number Of Deaths Down 1% To 191 On January 12

On January 12, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 10,046 over January 11 to 3,727,034, and the number of deaths increased by 191 over January 11 to 97,928; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 41.1%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 1%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of January 13, a total of 3,727,034 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 97,928 deaths; 3,537,826 had recovered.

On January 12, a total of 10,046 new disease cases were recorded, 191 people died, and 7,202 people recovered.

Therefore, as of January 12, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (10,046 vs 7,202).

At the same time, on January 12, a total of 1,676 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 11.7% over January 11.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 11, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 7,117 over January 10 to 3,716,988, and the number of deaths increased by 193 over January 10 to 97,737; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 31%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 11.9%.

On January 10, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 5,429 over January 9 to 3,709,871, and the number of deaths increased by 219 over January 9 to 97,544; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.8 times, and the number of new deaths rose 2.5 times.
