The Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada removed from the bill on mobilization the rule on not providing consular services to evaders.

A member of the Committee, Member of Parliament from the European Solidarity faction, Iryna Friz, announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The key amendment that was managed to be excluded was the rule on limiting the provision of consular services without presenting military registration documents," she informed about the Committee's decision on the bill on mobilization.

According to her, consideration of all amendments to the bill should be completed on Friday, March 29.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Committee on National Security of the Verkhovna Rada will propose demobilization after 36 months of service, on the condition that they stay at the front for 18 months.

The National Security Committee left in the bill on mobilization the rule that men between the ages of 18 and 25 should not be drafted.

The National Security Committee supported the amendment to exclude from the bill on mobilization the rule on blocking the accounts of evaders and banning them from driving vehicles.
