Russia loses 1,260 more soldiers, 12 tanks, 27 armored vehicles, and 46 artillery systems on May 3

Losses of personnel of the russian troops on May 2 increased by 1,260 to 473,400 people; Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 12 tanks, 27 armored fighting vehicles, and 46 artillery systems.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

During the day, the enemy lost 12 tanks (total – 7,366), 27 armored combat vehicles (total – 14,156), 46 artillery systems (total – 12,148), two anti-aircraft defense devices (total – 788), two units of rocket artillery (total – 1,053), one cruise missile (total – 2,126), 71 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (total - 16,337), eight units of special equipment (total – 2,001) and 31 drones (total – 9,611).

Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 348 aircraft, 325 helicopters, 26 ships/boats, and one submarine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 2, the loss of personnel of the russian troops increased by 1,270 to 472,140 people, equipment - by 22 tanks, 33 armored combat vehicles, and 58 artillery systems.
