At night, air defense again repels attack of Shaheds

Overnight into September 22, the aggressor country of russia launched 80 Shahed 131/136 kamikaze attack drones on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, two Kh-59 guided air missiles flew in the Ukrainian direction. Air defense forces shot down 71 enemy drones.

This was reported in the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian aviation flew into the occupied part of the Luhansk Region and fired missiles there. Shaheds were launched from Kursk and Yeysk in russia.

The enemy's air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups and EW units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 71 Shahed attack drones were shot down. Another 6 drones were lost in location.

Anti-aircraft defense worked in the Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kherson and Mykolaiv Regions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of September 22, the russian invaders attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the hit, a residential high-rise building was damaged.
