Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 33.2% To 32,393, Number Of Deaths Up 9.2% To 154 On January 26

On January 26, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 32,393 over January 25 to 3,946,202, and the number of deaths increased by 154 over January 25 to 99,738; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 33.2%, and the number of new deaths increased by 9.2%.

The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of January 27, a total of 3,946,202 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 99,738 deaths; 3,601,952 had recovered.

On January 26, a total of 32,393 new disease cases were recorded, 154 people died, and 5,237 people recovered.

Therefore, as of January 26, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (32,393 vs 5,237).

At the same time, on January 26, a total of 3,016 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 1.9% over January 25.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 25, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 24,321 over January 24 to 3,913,809, and the number of deaths increased by 141 over January 24 to 99,584; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 27.2%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 12.4%.

On January 24, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 19,118 over January 23 to 3,889,488, and the number of deaths increased by 161 over January 23 to 99,443; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 48%, and the number of new deaths increased by 2.4 times.
