Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 46.9% To 34,353, Number Of Deaths Up 2.2 Times To 255 On February 7

On February 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 34,353 over February 6 to 4,341,790, and the number of deaths increased by 255 over February 6 to 101,647; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 46.9%, and the number of new deaths rose 2.2 times.

The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of February 8, a total of 4,341,790 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 101,647 deaths; 3,696,285 had recovered.

On February 7, a total of 34,353 new disease cases were recorded, 255 people died, and 15,193 people recovered.

Therefore, as of February 7, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those recovered (34,353 vs 15,193).

At the same time, on February 7, a total of 2,168 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 19.7% over February 6.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 23,378 over February 5 to 4,307,437, and the number of deaths increased by 115 over February 5 to 101,392; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 16%, and the number of new deaths increased by 5.5%.

On February 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 27,851 over February 4 to 4,284,059, and the number of deaths increased by 109 over February 4 to 101,277; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 34.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 41%.
