President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that people are under rubble in the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv, which was damaged by russian missile fire on July 8, and the exact number of injured and killed is currently unknown. He emphasized that it is very important that the world is not silent about it now.

The President announced this on his social networks.

"Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv. One of the most important not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe is an exclusively CHILDREN'S hospital. Okhmatdyt saved and restored health to thousands of children. Now the hospital has been damaged by a russian attack, people are under rubble, the exact number of wounded and killed is currently unknown," the message says.

Zelenskyy added that everyone is currently helping to clear the rubble - doctors, ordinary people.

"Russia cannot help but know where its missiles are flying, and must fully answer for all its crimes: against people, against children, against humanity in general," the President emphasized.

Zelenskyy emphasized that it is very important that the world should not be silent about this now and that everyone should see "what russia is, what it is doing."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of July 8, air defense was operating in Kyiv due to a massive missile attack by the aggressor state. Falling debris was recorded in 7 districts: in Solomyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiyivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts. Children's hospital Okhmatdyt, houses, an enterprise, an office building were damaged.

In Kyiv, the Okhmatdyt children's hospital was damaged by russian shelling.

The number of people killed as a result of the russian missile attack on the city of Kyiv on the morning of July 8 has increased to 7.
