Occupiers transferring additional forces to strengthen offensive in north of Kharkiv Region

Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, said that the russian occupiers had transferred additional assault units to the north of the Kharkiv Region.

Voloshyn made a corresponding statement in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, the russian army is moving units to the area of Vovchansk in order to prepare for offensive actions.

Voloshyn said that the day before, units of the 155th Marine Brigade and the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the Armed Forces of the russian federation were transferred to the area of the village of Hlyboke.

He added that the arrival of units of the 41st Regiment of the 72nd Motorized Rifle Division was noted in the area of Murom, Belgorod Region. They were transferred to replenish the current shortage of personnel.

And the personnel of the 138th and 128th Motorized Rifle Brigades, as well as the 1009th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Army of the russian armed forces, continue to arrive in the central and eastern part of Vovchansk.

In addition, parts of the 128th Motorized Rifle Division and the "Akhmat" detachment arrive at the place of the assault detachment of the 153rd Regiment of the 47th Tank Division.

The spokesman of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group also reported that since the beginning of the current day, there have been 5 combat clashes in the north of the Kharkiv Region. Four have been completed, one more is in progress.

The occupiers lost 113 people killed and wounded, as well as 29 pieces of equipment.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that russian troops are preparing to transfer new forces to the area of Vovchansk and other areas of the front in the north of the Kharkiv Region.

Recall that on July 10, analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War announced that the Ukrainian military had taken over a number of positions in the north of the Kharkiv Region.
