Russians lose another Su-25 in Pokrovsk Triangle. AFU publish video

This morning, servicemen of the 110th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a Su-25 attack aircraft of the russian occupation army. The incident took place in the Pokrovsk axis in the Donetsk Region.

This is evidenced by a message on the official page of the 110th brigade on Facebook.

"Today, in the area of ​​the Pokrovsk triangle (anomalous zone where the occupiers’ planes fell), an enemy Su-25 disappeared from communication again," the military said.

The brigade said that two russian Su-25s tried to launch an attack on the position of the Ukrainian military.

Anti-aircraft guns of the 110th brigade worked out one attack aircraft, as a result of which it was destroyed.

The military also published footage of the destruction of the occupiers' plane.

The press service of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group emphasized that for the fighters of the 110th brigade, this is already the second Su-25 destroyed since the beginning of the month.

The Su-25 is a subsonic attack aircraft designed for direct support of ground forces in all weather conditions.

The cost of one Su-25 attack aircraft is approximately USD 11 million.

According to information from open sources, as of 2024, about 170 Su-25 aircraft of various modifications were in service with the russian Armed Forces.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 19, the Ukrainian military shot down the Su-25 attack aircraft of the occupiers in the Pokrovsk axis in the Donetsk Region.

We will remind, on July 7, on the same part of the front, the russians lost another Su-25 attack aircraft.
