Ukraine has achieved relative stability in the energy sector. In the coming months, there might be only minor power outages.

This was announced by Yurii Boiko, the adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on energy issues, on the air of the Kyiv24 TV channel.

As Boiko noted, currently in Ukraine, generating energy in the system has become more, and the weather is cooler.

"Accordingly, consumption has decreased. Unfortunately, being weather dependent, thanks to today's weather, we are in a relative balance," he added.

In the absence of "external influence," Ukraine may be in the aforementioned relative balance within the next three months.

"This means that if restrictions do occur, they will be insignificant," Boiko explained.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, power outage schedules on July 29 were valid only from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The executive director of DTEK, Dmytro Sakharuk, said that it will be easier for Ukrainians to get through the coming winter if everyone somehow prepares for it.

In addition, on July 26, the Ukrenergo board chairperson, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, said that probably the most difficult period of the summer for the energy industry is behind us. According to him, if there are no new large-scale damages to the power plants, the situation will improve in the next few weeks.

On July 24, Energoatom launched the second power unit of the nuclear power plant after repairs in July.
