UN: 9,600 Killed, 22,400 Wounded In Donbas Conflict

The United Nations (UN) has estimated the number of killed in Donbas conflict at 9,640 people and the number of wounded at 22,431 people.

Head of United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Fiona Frazer said this at the presentation of the 15th report of the Mission, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

She said that a total of 28 were killed and 160 people were wounded between mid-May and mid-August 2016.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 3, the Mission estimated the number of the killed at 9,400 and the number of the wounded at 21,600 people.
