AFU Repel More Than 60 Enemy Attacks On April 7 - General Staff

The Armed Forces of Ukraine last day, April 7, repelled more than 60 enemy attacks in 4 directions, Ukrainian aviation launched 9 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the invaders.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the past day, the enemy launched 2 missile and 35 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine and carried out more than 40 attacks from multiple rocket launchers.

"The enemy continues to focus on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions. Over the past day, thanks to the courage of each warrior, more than 60 enemy attacks were repelled in these directions," the message said.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation is without significant changes, there were no signs of enemy offensive groups.

The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the Kursk and Belgorod Regions bordering Ukraine.

In the border areas of the Kursk Region, the enemy continues the engineering equipment of the area.

During the day of April 7, the adversary shelled the settlements of Leonivka, Hremyach (Chernihiv Region), Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Zarutske (Sumy Region), Huryiv Kozachok, Lukyantsi, Verkhnya Pysarivka, Hrafske, Zybyne, Karaichne, Potykhonove, Ambarne, Bolohivka, Krasne Pershe, and Novomlynsk (Kharkiv Region).

In the Kupiansk direction, the settlements of Topoli, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Krokhmalne, Husynka, Kindrashivka (Kharkiv Region), and Novoselivske (Luhansk Region) were shelled by the enemy.

In the Lyman direction, during the day of April 7, the adversary attempted to advance in the vicinities south of Kreminna, as well as in the vicinities of Serebryanske forestry and Verkhniokamyanske, to no success.

Novoselivske, Makiivka, Nevske, Kuzmyne, Dibrova, Bilohorivka (Luhansk Region), Torske, Zarichne, Spirne, Berestove (Donetsk Region) were shelled with artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions, attempting to take full control of the city of Bakhmut, fierce battles continue.

During the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area east of Bohdanivka and Ivanivske.

Units of the defense forces repelled about 20 enemy attacks on the indicated section of the front.

More than 25 settlements suffered from enemy shelling, in particular Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Novomarkove, Stupochky, Shumy, Toretsk, and New York (Donetsk Region).

In the Avdiivka and Mariinka directions, the enemy held no offensive actions.

In the areas of Novokalynove, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, Mariinka and Pobieda, Donetsk Region, the enemy was not successful.

The fiercest battles on the indicated section of the front continue beyond Mariinka, where more than 15 enemy attacks were repelled.

At the same time, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Sievierne, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, Mariinka, Pobieda and Paraskoviivka were under enemy attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction during the day, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions.

It shelled the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Kermenchyk, Novomayorske, Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarske, and Velyka Novosilka, Donetsk Region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the adversary continues to improve fortifications at its defensive lines and positions.

The enemy shelled more than 40 settlements. Among them are Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novopavlivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Kachkarivka, Zmiivka, Inzhenerne, and Zelenivka (Kherson Region), as well as Kherson.

The Ukrainian Air Force delivered 9 strikes per day on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the invaders.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft near Mariinka.

The enemy also lost 7 UAVs, including 3 Orlans, 3 Lancets, and 1 Merlin.

Units of missile forces and artillery hit 1 control point, 2 areas of concentration of manpower and destroyed an ammunition depot of the enemy.
