The NBU published the Top 10 currency exchange companies in terms of assets amount

For the first time, The National Bank of Ukraine published financial companies' performance data, specializing in currency exchange.

The Minfin Media data portal published the Ukrainian financial Regulator's data, pursuant to which the largest legit companies in the currency exchange sector display successful business activity and significant growth indicators, particularly due to the active removal of shadow players from this market.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the companies charted above lead the Ukrainian currency exchange market.

Thus, "Liberty Finance" financial company, which is part of "KYT Group", became the industry leader in asset growth rate. The company's assets increased by 211.1%, from UAH 72.1 million in 2022 to UAH 224.3 million in 2023, which is the biggest uprush in this segment of the financial market.

The ranking leader as to the size of assets — "Ukrainian Financial Group" — showed an increase in assets by 11.8%, increasing them from UAH 428.4 million in 2022 to UAH 479 million in 2023.

Dynamics and activity indicators of the currency exchange market result from the policy of the NBU and law enforcement agencies, which have a positive effect on the legitimate participants' development in this segment of the financial market. According to the 2023 performance, the total assets of the top 10 reach more than UAH 2.3 billion, which is almost one and a half times more or UAH 731 million more than the 2022 figures.

According to NBU data, the largest currency exchange market players are also the largest taxpayers in the financial business segment. Thus, "Alfa-Invest Group" and the "Liberty Finance" financial company of the "KYT Group" from the top five companies in terms of assets are in the top three companies in their market, which paid the most taxes to the budget — UAH 42.3 million and UAH 33.8 million, respectively.
