Each combat brigade of border guards will have separate RUBAK unit – State Border Guard Service

Each combat brigade of border guards will have a separate rapid response unit of reconnaissance-strike unmanned aerial complexes RUBAK.

The State Border Guard Service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that the first structural rapid response unit of reconnaissance-strike unmanned aerial complexes, led by the Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Oleksiuk, began to form on the basis of the Pomsta brigade.

The head of the State Border Guard Service Serhii Deineko, during his stay in the Pomsta brigade unit on the Bakhmut axis, noted that the best experience of the Pomsta’s RUBAK will be transferred to other combat brigades of the State Border Guard Service, such a unit will be created in each such brigade.

The head of the department assured that all the necessary assistance from the higher management bodies will be provided for the newly created separate rapid response unit of reconnaissance-strike unmanned aerial complexes RUBAK.

It is noted that the formation of units specializing in the combat use of drones is one of the priority tasks of the State Border Guard Service today, and work is already underway to introduce another separate rapid response unit of reconnaissance-strike unmanned aerial complexes RUBAK to the staff in one of the detachments that defends the border with the aggressor state russia in the northern direction.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, by decree of June 25, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the creation of the Unmanned Systems Forces as a separate type of force within the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
