45 members of the Verkhovna Rada have suggested that the parliament simplify the process of receiving compensation for destroyed or damaged housing in the temporarily occupied territories.

This is stated in bill No. 11440, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is proposed to supplement the legislation with regulations regarding the peculiarities of state registration of ownership rights to immovable property, the registration of which was carried out by a BTI (Bureau of Technical Inventory) using paper media, in the absence of relevant register books in connection with their destruction or storage in the territories of active hostilities or in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the russian federation.

The introduction and application of the appropriate special procedure for state registration of property rights is assumed in the presence of two mandatory criteria:

  1. The owner having a title document for real estate, on which the BTI registration inscription must be affixed or an integral part of which must be the BTI registration certificate.
  2. Lack of access to paper carriers of BTI information due to the destruction of such carriers as a result of active hostilities or in connection with their actual location in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

Among the authors are: the head of the subcommittee on the activities of justice bodies, punishment and probation bodies Ihor Fris (Servant of the People), head of the Servant of the People party Olena Shuliak, first deputy head of the Rada Oleksandr Kornienko.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 27 members of the Verkhovna Rada propose to the parliament to change the rules of the eRecovery program.
