Cabinet allocates UAH 500 million to Interior Ministry for construction of training ranges and shooting ranges

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 500 million to the Ministry of Interior Affairs for the construction of training ranges and shooting ranges.

The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"UAH 500 million has been allocated to the Ministry of Interior Affairs on an irrevocable basis at the expense of the reserve fund of the state budget (for the National Guard – UAH 266,425,000, for the Administration of the State Border Guard Service – UAH 114,086,000, for the National Police – UAH 119,489,000) for the implementation of measures to strengthen the state's defense capabilities, related to the arrangement of training ranges and shooting ranges," he said.

At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers redistributed the expenses of the state budget by reducing the amount of expenses for servicing the state debt by UAH 500 million and increased the expenses of the reserve fund by this amount.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers expanded the list of priority expenses that the state finances in the first place, in particular, the construction of shelters will now be financed as a priority.
