UkrGasVydobuvannya boosts gas production by 8% to 8.1 billion cubic meters in 7M

In the first seven months of 2024, the UkrGasVydobuvannya joint-stock company increased gas production (commodity) by 8% year over year to 8.08 billion cubic meters.

This follows from a statement by the company, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"When approving the company's plans for 2024, we set production rates for commercial gas significantly higher than the actual production last year. We managed not only to increase production but also to exceed the planned production rates. We will continue to work!" said the acting executive director general of the company, Serhii Lahno.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, UkrGasVydobuvannya increased its net profit 4.5 times, or by UAH 10.1 billion, year over year to UAH 13 billion.

Naftogaz plans to extract 15 billion cubic meters of gas in 2024 at the expense of the companies UkrGasVydobuvannya and Ukrnafta.

In 2023, UkrGasVydobuvannya produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas, and Ukrnafta increased gas production by 6% to 1.097 billion cubic meters.

UkrGasVydobuvannya is the largest gas producer in Ukraine; 100% of the company's shares belong to Naftogaz.
