Quotations of Ferrexpo shares continue growth for 2nd week in a row, up 8.8% to GBP 0.950 per share July 17-21

In the period of July 17-21, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc (United Kingdom), which controls Poltava Mining and Yeristovo Mining (both located in Horishni Plavni, Poltava Region), at the London Stock Exchange increased by 8.8% or GBP 0.077 per share to GBP 0.950 per share, growing for the second week in a row.

That follows from the data posted at the London Stock Exchange, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, on July 17, the shares of the company were quoted at the level of GBP 0.873 per share; on July 18, they increased to GBP 0.916 per share; and on July 19 - to GBP 0.947 per share.

On July 20, they fell to GBP 0.937 per share; but on July 21, rose to GBP 0.950 per share.

The transactions were being conducted during the whole week.

Since the start of the year, the company's shares' quotations have decreased by 39.6% (compared to the level of quotations on December 30, 2022 - GBP 1.572).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the period of July 10-14, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc at the London Stock Exchange increased by 4.2% or GBP 0.036 per share to GBP 0.902 per share, growing after a two-week decrease.

In the period of December 31, 2021 - December 31, 2022, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc at the London Stock Exchange fell by 47.5% or GBP 1.422 per share to GBP 1.572 per share.

In 2022, the company reduced its profit four times or by USD 651 million year over year to USD 220 million, and earnings – twice or by USD 1.27 billion to USD 1.25 billion.

In 2022, the company reduced EBITDA (earnings before taxes, interest, and depreciation) by 47% or USD 674 million year over year to USD 765 million.

At the same time, in 2022, capital investments fell 2.2 times to USD 161 million.
