100 settlements in 6 regions cut off due to bad weather

Due to bad weather, 100 settlements in the Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv Regions were cut off.

This was announced by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Due to adverse weather conditions, 100 settlements in 6 regions - Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv - remain without power. Most of them are in the Kyiv Region, where 52 settlements have been cut off," the message says.

As a result of technological violations, consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions were without power.

"Due to shelling in the Donetsk Region, 16 settlements lost power. Also, part of consumers in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv Regions remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows. In total, almost 34,000 consumers were restored to power during the day. Most of them - in the Donetsk Region," the report says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 28, bad weather left 306,000 consumers without electricity in 1,045 settlements.
