There are no enemy strike groups near borders of region, occupiers spread fake about attack on Sumy Region - Regional Military Administration

The russian occupiers are spreading information about the alleged massive offensive of russian troops on the Sumy Region.

This was reported by the press center of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

As noted, this is a fake aimed at destabilizing and increasing panic among the residents of the region.

"As the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh, noted, as of today, no enemy strike groups have been recorded near the borders of the Sumy Region.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration and district military administrations, the leadership of communities and law enforcement agencies are on the ground," the message reads.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready for any challenges and, if necessary, can give a decent rebuff to the enemy.

"At the same time, there is still danger from the air and shelling of border communities. Do not ignore the air warning signals. Let's keep calm! Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! We are working for Victory!" the Regional Military Administration added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Sumy Region remains the "most popular" for russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

At the beginning of January, it was reported that the situation on the border of the Chernihiv Region, Kharkiv Region and Sumy Region is tense, the occupiers are constantly shelling these territories and are actively using sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Sumy Region suffers the most from saboteurs.

In particular, in the Chernihiv Region, a russian sabotage group shot a civilian car. A man was killed as a result of the attack.
