The Kropyvnytskyi Court changed intelligence officer Roman Chervinskyi's preventive measure from arrest to bail of UAH 9 million.

This was announced by his lawyer Viktor Vasyliuk on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

On July 15, intelligence officer Roman Chervinskyi was released on bail.

He has been under arrest since April 2023.

"The intelligence officer-hero Roman Chervinskyi was released on bail! Finally, Roman will be able to hug his children, mother, wife, and sister. Thank you to everyone who supported and brought this interim victory closer. But the fight is still going on!" he wrote on Facebook.

Another lawyer, Kostiantyn Hloba, wrote that the intelligence officer was set bail in the amount of UAH 9 million.

He noted that the trial lasted seven hours, and 27 MPs and 51 other people expressed their desire to take Chervinskyi on bail.

Chervinskyi will remain in custody until bail of more than UAH 9 million is posted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the court arrested the intelligence officer Chervinskyi, who may be involved in the shelling of the Kanatovo airfield.
