The government of the aggressor country of the russian federation is developing a system to prevent potential conscripts from leaving the country.

This is stated in the intelligence update of the British Ministry of Defence.

As noted in the update, on July 11, the russian independent media organization Meduza reported that the russian government is implementing an "information exchange system" between the Ministry of Defense and the Federal Security Service (FSB) to transfer detailed information about potential conscripts to the FSB Border Guard Service in order to prevent them from fleeing the country. It is reported that the system should be fully operational by the fall of 2024.

The russian federation annually conducts two drafts for military service, annually calling up more than 250,000 people to complete one year of compulsory military service.

"Hundreds of thousands of Russians left the country after the announcement of partial mobilization in 2022 and these were disproportionately concentrated among the young and highly educated, causing knock on effects to the labor market. The implementation of this system is likely to prevent a smaller scale repeat of this during the annual draft cycle, and in the event of a further wave of mobilization," the British Ministry of Defense notes.

We will remind you that the russian federation raised gas prices for the population due to the loss of the EU market.
