Navy warn of missile threat from Black Sea

Two Kalibr cruise missile carriers of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation were recorded in the Black Sea after a certain break.

This was stated by the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the air of the United News telethon.

"We... observe two carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles. The total salvo is up to 12 units. Usually in the Black Sea, this is one of the main threats," he explained.

He added that the enemy keeps aviation on constant duty.

"Aviation is present there 24/7. They use it both for protecting the water area, for anti-drone combat, and for inflicting combat damage. Therefore, this danger periodically also makes itself felt," Pletenchuk added.

There is also a russian fleet in the Sea of Azov - four units - minesweepers or missile boats without Kalibrs.

According to the Navy of the Armed Forces of the russian federation, there is one ship of the russian federation in the Mediterranean Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 22, there were 3 enemy ships in the Sea of ​​Azov that are not missile carriers, and there were no russian ships in the Black Sea.
