On the afternoon of July 24, powerful explosions rang out in Kharkiv against the backdrop of a warning by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the threat of the enemy using ballistic weapons. The russians hit the infrastructural object with missiles, a severe fire broke out.

This was announced by the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov.

Thus, he reported that several explosions were heard in the city: "The sounds of powerful explosions were heard in Kharkiv."

"An infrastructural object was attacked by missiles. There is a strong fire at the place of hit. Information about the victims and destruction is being clarified," Terekhov informed.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, clarified that the fire after the attack was at a civilian infrastructure facility. Currently, there are no casualties.

The explosions were heard shortly after the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the threat of using ballistics from the east, as well as from the south.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Wednesday, July 24, russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine with 23 attack drones, an Iskander-M ballistic missile and another missile, the type of which is being determined, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 17 Shaheds.

In particular, on the night of July 24, troops of the aggressor army of the russian federation attacked Izmail, Odesa Region, with drones. The port was damaged, the house was hit and there are wounded.
