Barack and Michelle Obama say that Harris has their full support in US presidential election

Former U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife and former first lady Michelle Obama have announced their full support for U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris. In their words, they’ve got her back and will do everything they can to make sure she wins and encouraged people to join.

This is stated in their messages on the X social network, to which they attached a video of a phone conversation with Harry.

"Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend Kamala Harris. We told her we think she’ll make a fantastic President of the United States, and that she has our full support. At this critical moment for our country, we’re going to do everything we can to make sure she wins in November. We hope you’ll join us," Barack Obama's message reads.

Michelle Obama also spoke separately on her X, but with the same attached video.

"I’m so proud of my girl, Kamala. Barack and I are so excited to endorse her as the Democratic nominee because of her positivity, sense of humor, and ability to bring light and hope to people all across the country. We’ve got your back, Kamala Harris!" she wrote.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Vice President Kamala Harris released her first pre-election video, where she showed how she sees the United States.

Additionally, American singer Beyoncé, who is known for following strict licensing rules for her music, gave quick approval to the Harris campaign when they applied for permission to use the song "Freedom."
