Oschadbank ups profit by 29% to UAH 8.8 billion over H1, 2024

In the first half of 2024, the State Savings Bank (Oschadbank) received UAH 8.81 billion in net profit.

This is evidenced by the bank’s data, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the results of the first half of 2024, Oschadbank received UAH 8.81 billion in net profit, of which UAH 74 million - in June.

The bank improved its financial result by UAH 2 billion compared to the same period last year.

Oschadbank's net interest income for January-June compared to the same period last year increased by almost 26% to UAH 10.96 billion, net non-interest income increased by about 13% to UAH 4.09 billion.

Such a result was achieved, among other things, thanks to the increase in lending to businesses and households: during the first six months of the year, the corresponding loan portfolios increased both for representatives of large corporations and for micro-, small- and medium-sized businesses and individuals.

For the first half of 2024, the operating profit of Oschadbank exceeds UAH 7 billion, which is 25% more than the result of the same period last year.

The financial result of Oschadbank continues to be influenced by the revaluation of financial instruments in the securities portfolio.

In six months of the current year, the bank received UAH 2.7 billion of net profit from their revaluation.

The bank's regulatory capital adequacy ratio as of July 1, 2024 is 14.35% at the NBU standard of 10%.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, 100% of the shares of Oschadbank PJSC are state-owned.
