Ukrhydroproject will design protective structures at Dniprovska HEPP for UAH 197.9 million

On July 29, the Ukrhydroenergo energy generating company agreed with PRJSC Ukrhydroproject (Kharkiv) on project works for the construction of a structure to protect the building of the HEPP-2 of the Dniprovska Hydroelectric Power Plant (Zaporizhzhia) for UAH 197.897 million.

This is evidenced by data in the ProZorro state procurement system, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The deadline for the works is until December 31, 2025.

PRJSC Ukrhydroproject is a project enterprise in the field of hydropower.

The enterprise was established in 1994 on the basis of the Ukrhydroproject state institute.

Sarkis Symovian is the ultimate beneficiary of PRJSC Ukrhydroproject.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 18, the Ukrhydroenergo energy generating company agreed with the MVP Energorishennia LLC to build protective structures at the Kaniv Hydroelectric Power Plant (Cherkasy Region) for UAH 571.2 million.

On March 22, russian troops launched a missile attack on the Dniprovska Hydroelectric Power Plant (Zaporizhzhia), causing damage to both stations and the dam.

Ukrhydroenergo includes Kyiv HEPP, Kyiv PSPP, Kaniv HEPP, Kremenchuk HEPP, Seredniodniprovska HEPP, Dniprovska HEPP, Dnistrovska HEPP, Dnistrovska PSPP, and Kakhovka HEPP.

On June 6, 2023, russian troops blew up the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.

The Cabinet of Ministers decided to rebuild the Kakhovka HEPP blown up by the russians.

100% of the shares of Ukrhydroenergo belong to the state and are managed by the Ministry of Energy.
