India, as one of the leaders of the Global South, seeks to help Ukraine achieve peace.

Arseniy Pushkarenko, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, stated this on the United News telethon.

"The Global South seeks to be involved in the process of ending this terrible war. In particular, India, which was represented at the Peace Summit in Switzerland. And the future possible visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Ukraine is another proof of this," the politician pointed out.

He also reminded that in June on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Italy, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with the leader of India. The current situation in Ukraine, as well as efforts to implement the Peace Formula, was discussed there. After all, it is these 10 points, Arseniy Pushkarenko emphasized, that restore the effect of international law in our country.

He also spoke about the recent visit of the Prime Minister of India to Moscow. This happened directly during another terrible missile attack by russia, when more than 40 missiles were fired, several cities were affected, in particular, the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in the capital.

As Arseniy Pushkarenko noted, under any circumstances, Ukraine should use this opportunity to bring a just end to the war. So there is hope that Narendra Modi's visit will happen. This is a great signal that our state has a stable dialogue with the leaders of the Global South and this is important for Ukraine.

"For us, every state on the way to the establishment of a just and stable peace is important, in particular the countries of the Global South, which today are Ukraine's foreign policy priority. As part of the activities of the inter-factional parliamentary association "Ukraine - Latin American and Caribbean States: Cooperation for the Future", the visit of Ukrainian parliamentarians to Chile, Argentina and Paraguay to establish cooperation and strengthen Ukraine continues. Therefore, our state continues to consolidate the world around the Peace Formula as a tool for ending the war," Arseniy Pushkarenko stressed.
