As of August 6, the russian occupiers have advanced to the administrative borders of Toretsk, they are not in the city itself.

Vasyl Chynchyk, head of the Toretsk City Military Administration, told about this on the air of the telethon.

According to the official, as of the evening of August 5, there are no russians in the city, but they are near the administrative borders of Toretsk.

"As of today, the enemy is advancing to the administrative borders of Toretsk, has not entered the city, is near the administrative borders of the city," Chynchyk said.

He also said that currently there are approximately 3,000 civilians left in the city. The evacuation of people from the community began on June 24, when hostilities intensified.

Vasyl Chynchyk said that there are people on the territory of the community who refuse to evacuate and count on the fact that the situation in the city will stabilize and that it will not be captured by the russian army.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the occupiers became more active in one axis. The General Staff named the hottest spot on the front.

Also, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the main goal of the russians today, after they failed to occupy Kharkiv, is Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Region.
