An explosion occurred at the Avangard plant in the city of Sterlitamak in Bashkortostan, three people were killed.

This was reported by the russian Radio Svoboda service.

The explosion occurred when a repair crew was dismantling a pipeline in one of the workshops. All three members of the brigade were killed.

Due to the fact of the death of people, a criminal case has been opened for violation of industrial safety rules. The causes of the event are being established.

As stated in the investigative committee, it is assumed that the workers violated safety techniques while cutting the pipes, and the gas-air mixture ignited.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a fire broke out at the military base of the russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied Mariupol of the Donetsk Region. It is claimed that the arson was organized by partisans.

Meanwhile, as a result of the attack on the russian airfield Morozovsk in the Rostov Oblast on August 3, an SU-34 fighter-bomber and an ammunition depot were destroyed.
