The Cabinet of Ministers has regulated the presentation of military registration documents by men aged 18 to 60 to representatives of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the border strip and controlled border area.

This is stated in resolution No. 894 of August 6, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"During the period of mobilization (except for targeted mobilization) and/or during martial law, male citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60 are also required to carry a military registration document (in paper or electronic form)," the document says.

Corresponding changes have been made to the Regulations on the border regime.

Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers brought the Regulations on the border regime into compliance with the law on mobilization, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on April 11, entered into force on May 18, and obliged male citizens of Ukraine to update their data for mobilization measures within two months (until July 16).

The law also provides for the powers of border guards to check the military registration documents of men aged 18 to 60.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, from 12 a.m. on July 17, border guards check the presence of a military registration document of all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 when leaving Ukraine. In the absence of a military registration document, border guards refuse them to cross the state border to leave Ukraine.
