Volume of trading on Perspektyva stock exchange down 1% to UAH 18.4 billion in July

In July, 14,930 deals worth UAH 18.37 billion were concluded on the Perspektyva exchange (-4% against June 2024), since the beginning of the year – 102,480 deals worth UAH 108.11 billion (+13% against the seven months of 2023).

This follows from a statement by the exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In total, 23,640 deals worth UAH 57.0 billion were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in July (-13% against June 2024), since the beginning of the year – 235,560 deals worth UAH 391.7 billion (+53% against the first seven months of 2023).

Since the beginning of the year, debt instruments have traditionally dominated the structure of trading on the Perspektyva exchange: government bonds – 92.42%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states – 7.58%.

On the stock exchange market in general, trading is also observed mainly in the debt segment: government bonds – 90.07%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers, and states – 7.40%, shares, and CII securities – 0.62%, and derivatives – 1.91%.

The share of Perspektyva in July and the first seven months of 2024 was, respectively: in the total exchange turnover - 32% and 28%, including in relation to government bonds - 34% and 28%, in relation to bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers and states - 43% and 28%, in the total number of transactions - 63% and 44%.

As of July 31, 2024, the number of securities and other financial instruments admitted to trading on the Perspektyva exchange was 281, of which 159 were listed.

Structure of issues (series) by types of financial instruments: 173 - government bonds and government derivatives (159 - domestic, 14 - foreign loans), 65 - other bonds (33 - corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, 7 - corporate bonds of foreign issuers, 25 - bonds of foreign countries), 30 – shares (17 – Ukrainian issuers, 11 – foreign issuers, 2 – corporate investment funds’ shares), and 13 – investment certificates.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June, 15,260 deals worth UAH 19.14 billion were concluded on the Perspektyva exchange (-14% against May 2024), since the beginning of the year – 87,550 deals worth UAH 89.74 billion (+13% against the first half of 2023).
