Bus with children overturns near Khmelnytskyi. Killed reported

A bus carrying 19 children and four adults overturned in the Khmelnytskyi Region. A 12-year-old girl and one adult were killed as a result of the accident.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

The accident happened at 07:45 a.m. near the village of Vyshnopil of the Starokostiantyniv community. The driver of the LAZ Liner bus was transporting a group of children accompanied by two adults from the village of Lubar, Zhytomyr Region, to the village of Mykulychyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Region.

According to preliminary data, he lost control and allowed the vehicle to overturn. In total, there were 23 people in the bus, including 19 children, two adults accompanying the group, and two drivers.

Previously, a 12-year-old girl and one adult were killed in a road accident. The number of injured is being determined. All victims were hospitalized.
