The Kyivskyi Metropoliten municipal enterprise has concluded a contract for the continuation of construction of the Syretsko-Pecherska subway line in the direction of the Vynohradar residential area with the tender winner Avtostrada Group of Companies LLC for UAH 13.8 billion.

The Kyiv City State Administration has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that the procurement was carried out on the ProZorro electronic public procurement platform. The duration of construction works is 30 months, and their cost is UAH 13,785 million.

Currently, all permit documents and the handover of the construction sites to the contracting organization are being processed, after which the construction work will begin directly.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in May, the Kyivskyi Metropoliten announced a tender for the continuation of the construction of the subway to Vynohradar for UAH 14 billion.

Currently, the right-hand overpass tunnel with a length of almost 1,250 meters has been built from the Mostytska station to the Syrets station. In addition, the construction of the main structures of the distillation ventilation unit has been completed, and two-story tunnels have been partially built.

In December 2023, the Kyivskyi Metropoliten legally terminated the contract with JSC Kyivmetrobud due to unsatisfactory deadlines for the completion of works. Also, the court is deciding the issue of recovery of part of the advance payment, the use of which is not confirmed by acts of completed works.

In February 2023, then the head of the Kyivskyi Metropoliten, Viktor Brahinskyi, announced that the Kyivmetrobud company resumed the construction of the section of the Syretsko-Pecherska subway line from the Syrets station to the Vynohradar residential area.

In March 2024, Brahinskyi wrote a resignation letter.
