"To my deep regret, it was not possible to save one of the pilots. Such information is provided by the military command of the Ministry of Defense of russia. Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased pilot. This is a truly heavy loss," he wrote.

Other pilots have injuries of varying degrees of severity. They are in the hospital.
