On the Kursk Axis, the aircraft of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up another bridge, thus continuing to deprive the enemy of logistical capabilities.

This follows from a statement by the commander of the Air Force / Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.

"The Kursk Axis. Minus one more bridge! The aviation of the Air Force continues to deprive the enemy of logistical capabilities with precise strikes from the air, which significantly affects the course of hostilities! Once again, I thank the pilots for their professionalism and result!" the message says.

Russian mass media report that the bridge over the Seim River in the village of Zvane in the Glushkiv District was partially destroyed as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Russian Service of the BBC" notes that important communications of russian troops on the border pass through the bridges across the Seim.

On August 16, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, with the help of aviation, destroyed the road bridge over the Seim River in the settlement of Hlushkove, Kursk Oblast. This settlement is located 40 kilometers west of the city of Sudzha, which is controlled by the Ukrainian military.

The bridge was used by the russian occupiers to supply their group of troops to the border region.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, ISW analysts noted that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation illustrates how Ukrainian forces can use maneuver warfare to offset russian superiority in manpower and logistics.

Meanwhile, General Syrskyi reported to President Zelenskyy about the strengthening of the positions of Ukrainian forces in Kursk Oblast and the expansion of the stabilized territory.
