Overnight into August 21, the Defense Forces struck the position of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex in the Rostov Oblast of the aggressor state of russia.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to weaken the air defense of the russian invaders. On the night of August 21, units of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck the position of the enemy's S-300 anti-aircraft missile system near the settlement of Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov Oblast of the russian federation," the message says.

It is indicated that, according to the results of objective control, explosions were observed at certain aiming points. The accuracy of the lesion is still being investigated.

The General Staff noted that the russian invaders are using S-300 complexes for attacks on peaceful cities of Ukraine, destroying residential buildings and terrorizing the civilian population.
