In the Rostov Oblast, after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the oil depot in Proletarsk caught fire. The russians have been unable to extinguish the fire for the fourth day and have called priests to pray for the health of the victims.

This was reported in the Volgodonsk Diocese of the russian Orthodox Church.

Two priests of the Volgodonsk Diocese held a prayer near the storage of fuel and lubricant materials in Proletarsk, Rostov Oblast, where the fire is still burning after the attack of Ukrainian drones.

"With the blessing of Bishop Antony, Archpriest Dmitry and Priest Viktor Fedorovy sang a prayer and read the akathist of the Mother of God in front of Her image," the diocese said in a statement.

It should be noted that the oil depot is on fire for the fourth day in a row, and the russians cannot put it out.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the fire did not affect air quality.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of August 17-18, Ukrainian drones attacked Proletarsk, Rostov Oblast, as a result of which a fire broke out at a local oil depot.

Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified that the "Kavkaz" plant in Proletarsk was hit, where oil and oil products were stored, which, in particular, were supplied to the army of the russian invaders.

On August 19, it became known that for the second day, russian firefighters could not put out the fire at the oil depot in the town of Proletarsk after an attack by Ukrainian drones.
