Russia announces one of the largest drone attacks on Moscow

Overnight into August 21, Moscow was attacked by 10 drones, which is one of the largest attacks on the russian capital.

This was announced by the mayor of Moscow of the aggressor state of russia, Sergey Sobyanin.

So, it is indicated that 10 drones were heading to Moscow that night. Sobyanin claims that all were allegedly downed.

"This is one of the largest attempts to attack Moscow with the help of drones for all time," he added.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state of the russian federation said that a total of 45 aircraft-type UAVs attacked the country, and all of them were apparently destroyed. In particular, 11 UAVs - over the territory of the Moscow Oblast, 23 - over the Bryansk Oblast, 6 - over the territory of the Belgorod Oblast, 3 - over the Kaluga Oblast and 2 - over the Kursk Oblast.

ASTRA reported that, according to Rosaviatsiya, aircraft traffic was restricted from 2:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. at the Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky airports in the Moscow Oblast due to drone attacks.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at the same time, on the night of August 21, Kyiv and most of the regions were under threat of an attack by UAVs. In particular, up to 10 drones were headed towards the capital, but all of them were shot down by air defense on the approaches to the city.
