Russians attacked Ukraine with missiles and Shaheds at night

On the night of August 24-25, the russian invaders attacked Ukraine with various types of missiles and Shahed type UAVs. As a result of the work of air defense forces, all drones were destroyed.

This was announced by the commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.

He said that at night the occupiers used several types of missiles to launch strikes on the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions.

The enemy launched:

• 6 Kh-59/Kh-69 aviation missiles from the Kursk and Belgorod Oblasts of the russian federation;
• 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile;
• 1 Iskander-K cruise missile.

Oleshchuk did not say anything about the destruction of the missiles. At the same time, the Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 8 out of 8 Shahed drones.

According to the general, the russians launched drones from Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.

All enemy drones were shot down by mobile air defense groups in the Mykolaiv Region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russians have deployed their latest S-500 air defense systems on the territory of occupied Crimea.
