184 combat clashes take place at the front; Pokrovsk being most intense axis – General Staff

On August 26, a total of 170 combat clashes took place at the front; the hottest situation was at Pokrovsk (55 clashes), as well as Kupiyansk (25), Toretsk (23), and Kurakhove (22) Axes.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy struck the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements with 12 rockets and 86 airstrikes, dropping 110 anti-aircraft missiles.

In addition, the enemy launched more than 4,300 attacks, 120 of them using MLRSes.

On August 27, a total of 184 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded.

Thus, nine clashes took place on the Kharkiv Axis near Hlyboke, Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Lyptsi.

On the Kupiyansk Axis, 25 battles were fought near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolesnykivka, and Stelmakhivka.

On the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 16 times near Druzheliubivka, Novosadove, Nevske, and Terny.

On the Siversk Axis, the russians advanced four times near Verkhniokamiyanske, Vyimka, and Ivano-Dariyivka.

On the Kramatorsk Axis, 17 combat clashes took place near Hryhorivka, Andriyivka, Klishchiyivka, and Ivankivske.

A total of 23 battles were fought on the Toretsk Axis, in particular, near Nelipivka, Toretsk, and Niu York.

On the Pokrovsk Axis, our defenders repelled 55 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Novohrodivka, Mykhailivka, Hrodivka, Myronivka, and Selydove; the greatest concentration of attacks was near Novohrodivka.

On the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces stopped 22 enemy attacks near Karlivka, Heorhiyivka, Mykhailivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodiane, Staromykhailivka, and Kostiantynivka.

On the Vremivka Axis, the russian invaders advanced seven times in the direction of Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Rozdolne.

Four skirmishes took place on the Orikhiv Axis near Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.

On the Dnipro Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, carries out mortar and artillery attacks on populated areas from the territory of the russian federation.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces have carried out five strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and anti-aircraft defense systems of the enemy, hit the artillery system, the ground control station of the UAVs and another important object.

On August 27, the losses of the russian invaders amounted to 1,090 people.
