AFU explain why Pokrovsk should be considered as Axis and not a separate town

Pokrovsk axis, Vuhledar-Kurakhove-Pokrovsk

Pokrovsk of the Donetsk Region should be considered not as a separate town, but as the Axis of the Vuhledar-Kurakhove-Pokrovsk front.

Ivan Tymochko, head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces, said this in a comment on the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel.

"Pokrovsk should not be considered as a separate town, but should always be considered as the Axis of Vuhledar-Kurakhove-Pokrovsk. Then we can understand that this line is directional for the enemy. It is clear that the quality of units of our Armed Forces there, or the state of affairs, is completely different. It is connected with many moments and challenges," he said.

Tymochko emphasized that Vuhledar-Kurakhove-Pokrovsk is the Axis on which the enemy has advanced and will advance to try to seize the initiative.

"Because putin understands that certain negotiation and peacemaking processes are approaching, the first major serious meetings of the peace summit, and he is entering it from a very bad position. Donetsk Region is not occupied, his troops are retreating in the Kursk Oblast, no operational successes have been achieved in Kharkiv Region, even tactically, russian troops are either on the defensive or retreating to the north of the Kharkiv Region," Tymochko said.

We will remind you that Zelenskyy considers the operation in the Kursk Oblast a success despite the situation in the Pokrovsk Axis.
